How the soul taught music to a little child

When father came, he brought a small accordion as a gift to his small son. This makes Edoni happy, because he has musical education, and he will certainly teach little Janis everything he knows.

The accordion mainly becomes the main toy of small Janis, because he simply does not have other toys. Edoni makes the child press buttons little by little and to listen to sounds. Later these sounds will string into melodies which small Janis has heard from singing adults. In a very short time Edoni teaches small Janis to play several melodies with his right hand, and he manages them quite well.

After that a more difficult task comes to teach the child to play with his left hand as well. Small Janis himself cannot see accordion buttons on the left side; therefore Edoni looks at them and programs small Janis at which moment and where his fingers should be put in compliance with the play of his right hand. There were only about three months necessary for Edoni to teach the child to play as good as it was possible on this small children's accordion.

Seeing her child's talent in the field of music his mother even did not suspect that her child's abilities developed due to the help of Edoni. Having exhausted possibilities of his instrument, small Janis asked his mother to buy him a bigger accordion. Although their finances were small, the money was saved and Janis got an accordion which was so big that only the child's eyes and forehead could be seen behind its upper part. The instrument was too big and too heavy, but little by little Janis learnt to overcome these problems with the help of Edoni. Both Janis and Edoni were happy about possibilities of the new accordion. In the previous incarnation when Edoni taught music to others in Italy with the help of his body, people had not yet created such high level instruments, therefore Edoni could not express his skills that broadly and to teach them to people. Now it was a real holiday for both of them. Edoni was glad that he could teach the child to play and sing, but Janis, in his turn, admired those sounds and their combinations which he could draw forth from his accordion. Janis learnt not only to play skilfully by ear on certain topics, but also little by little to compose music and write words himself. He felt shy to tell others about his own compositions, therefore in the public he played only melodies known to others.

During the second grade of Zadzene Primary School Janis participated in a performance with his accordion in a New Year concert. The fact that this small nipper who had no musical education or musicians in his family learnt to play so well was a surprise for many people at school. None of those who asked themselves about it suspected that this small musician had a very good music teacher Edoni. Janis himself also did not suspect that somebody was guiding him. The child thought that it was his natural interest and willpower which had led to such a result. Later Edoni taught small Janis to play the trumpet and partially also the piano which were available only in rare cases.

Small Janis dreamt about the possibility to study in a musical school, but they were on the breadline and their place of residence did not allow such possibility. Edoni knew that if only the child would get to his piano he would help Janis to master it on a high level, and in future this child would become not only a professional musician, but also a very good composer. Was small Janis a wunderkind? No, he was the same as others. Only his soul had a musical education which he could transfer to his body.

Having grown up, Janis did not become a professional musician, but played just for the joy of his friends and himself, sometimes composing some songs.
